Open Source Software Projects I Like or Use Often

GIMP
- A useful image editor, similar to older versions of Photoshop.
jEdit
- My favorite editor for programming. One of the few good things to come from Java.
Lubuntu
- My favorite lightweight Ubuntu variant, often used as the basis for my lab VMs.
Minetest
- Similar to Minecraft; there are tons of mods and multiplayer servers to enjoy.
OctoPrint
- A web interface for 3D printers.
OpenMediaVault
- A NAS OS based on Debian.
OPNsense
- A great firewall OS, packed with features.
PiHole
- A network-level ad blocker. Works by acting as your DNS server.
ReactOS
- A project that aims to develop a Windows-compatible open source OS. Currently targeting NT 5.2 (Windows Server 2003).
Ubuntu
- My go-to Linux distribution because it has good compatibility and is easy to use.
