I need a new wallet.

The things I'm looking for are:

  • bifold
  • full grain leather
  • slim
  • made in the USA (the closer the better)
Rank Manufacturer Name Price Made in Material Product URL
1 Ashland Johnny the Fox $145.00 Chicago, IL Full grain leather https://ashlandleather.com/products/johnny-the-fox-cypress-brown
2 Rogue Industries Heritage Wallet $55.00 Maine Genuine cowhide https://www.rogue-industries.com/collections/american-made-leather-wallets/products/heritage-wallet
3 Main Street Forge BIFOLD LEATHER WALLET FOR MEN $60.00 Michigan Full grain leather https://mainstreetforge.com/products/bifold-leather-wallet-for-men-made-in-usa-mens-bifold-wallets-american-made
4 The Buffalo Billfold Company Mens Bifold Leather Wallet $70.00 Worthington, MN Bison leather https://buffalobillfoldcompany.com/shop/mens-bifold-leather-wallet
5 Bellroy Hide & Seek $90.00 Unknown Premium leather https://bellroy.com/products/hide-and-seek-wallet

And some justifications for the given ranks:

  1. It's a great looking wallet made out of great materials, and it's made fairly close to me.
  2. It looks like very well made and the price is incredibly low, but it's made way over in Maine. I also can't determine whether or not they use full grain leather.
  3. Aesthetically I think the one in second place is a bit better, though they are a very similar design. They specifically say they use full grain leather but they're also 3rd furthest away.
  4. Seems well made and it's made from bison leather which sounds cool, but the logo on the front is a little too much for me. They are the closest manufacturer.
  5. Looks like a nice wallet and it was my first choice before researching the rest of these. It's still very tempting. The company is a B corporation, but I don't know where they're made (the company is Australian) or anything about the leather except that it's "ethically sourced" and "premium".
