Transdermal patches
Mainly I just think the idea is super cool. It will forever be the most sci-fi way to imbibe recreational drugs in my mind.

There is a history dating back to the 1970s for medical uses of transdermal patches. The first one delivered scopolamine to combat motion sickness. They've become common for things like opiods, hormones, and probably most widely used to deliver nicotine to assist with smoking cessation.
But what about more recreational pursuits?
In 2016 there was an Indiegogo campaign for a bracelet named Joule (also called Perk) that could be fitted with replaceable caffeine patches. It was funded and appears to have shipped a product, though I have no idea what happened after that.
